Rev. Paul Grenier earned a BA in Psychology and Philosophy at Marlboro College in Vermont and his M.Div. and MST. from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Paul has trained as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor at the Bronx VA., and Bellevue Hospitals in New York, Cooper Hospital in Camden NJ, , and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In addition, he is a NJ certified Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, Grief Counselor, and a trained Police Chaplain. He is currently working on his certification as an Anger Management Specialist with the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals.
Furthermore, Paul has extensive experience with disabilities as he was born blind and with facial deformities. He is available for speaking and counseling about overcoming and dealing with handicapping situations.
Paul was ordained in the United Church of Christ, and has served many churches as an adjunct pastor and as a chaplain at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital for over 5 years, where he received extensive training in mental health.
Paul approaches counseling from a broad yet personal perspective. He draws on his familiarity with many different faith traditions to help clients find their own spiritual path and relationship with the Divine. Starting with the fundamental belief that we are all created in the image of God and loved by our creator, then helping his patients discover how that love can manifest itself in their lives and give them purpose.
