Kristin Smith

LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor

MS – Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling – Clinical Mental Health Counseling

NCC – National Certified Counselor

Kristin is a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree from Rutger’s University in rehabilitation counseling. She has a clinical background in supporting individuals through a variety of concerns, including serious mental health challenges, life transitions, anxiety, stress, relapse, depression, grief, and recovery from trauma. Kristin has experience working with adults, families, and couples.

Sometimes, all we feel we can do is exist – go through the motions, put on a brave face, and hope that one day something will change. If you are tired of waiting for that change, tired of merely existing, Kristin invites you to take that first step with her. As your therapist, she offers a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can work together to find your own path and manage life’s challenges.

Kristin draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. Her goal is to help you build insight, develop new coping strategies, and foster personal growth – at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we can move beyond just going through the motions. Let us work toward fully experiencing life and realizing that you are in the driver’s seat.
