When clients call to schedule an appointment with me, I frequently find that they are feeling exhausted by their struggles, but they are not without hope. Scheduling an appointment takes courage and a strong desire for a more satisfying life. I have helped my clients through stages of healing within my practice: Stage 1 is the initial “venting” stage; Stage 2 involves “psychic leaning” on the therapist;  Stage 3 involves the client feeling a “boost up” in mood and activity; The final stage is when the client is able to “move forward” in their life from a place where they once felt stuck.

The question that I ask of all my clients is: Do you believe your life is pre-determined to be on a particular path or do you believe that through the efforts of your free will you can determine for yourself the direction you want your life to go?

Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away! You have brains in your head.  You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go.

You’ll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You’ll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact and remember that Life’s a Great Balancing Act. Just never forget to be dexterous and deft. And never mix up your right foot with your left.
