Vince DiPasquale, noted lecturer and educator in the tri-state area, has been active in the field of addiction for the past thirty three years. He is founder and director of The Starting Point, Inc. of NJ in Westmont, New Jersey. The Starting Point is an outpatient counseling center specializing in the areas of dependencies and functions as a support system for each individual’s personal growth.

 

Vince was born and raised in South Camden. He was ordained a priest in 1966 and served in the Camden Diocese for twenty years. Thirty one years ago as a priest he founded The Starting Point in Philadelphia. His own growth as a person can be attributed to the establishment of The Starting Point. In 1988 he married a special lady who has shared with him three wonderful daughters and seven delightful grandchildren.

Vince has appeared as a guest on radio and television broadcasts and has made appearances on national cable networks. He has recorded for distribution, numerous types of lectures on topics such as spirituality, addiction and codependency. He is also the published author of, “Relationships – The Gifts of Life” and “Learn to Value Your Childhood – Your History is Your Teacher.”

All are welcome to attend Vince’s FREE and continuous lecture series every Wednesday evening at the Starting Point in Westmont at 5:30 and again at 7:00 pm. His friendly, down-to-earth manner encourages all persons to enter a new sense of awareness. He inspires realization and acceptance that initiates changes from within. While sharing his own spiritual and emotional growth he gently guides his listeners to increase their self-esteem and to change old fears and behaviors to make way for a new and fulfilling lifestyle.
