Theresa Barrett, BSW, CAS, has been a counselor at The Starting Point for since 1985. Her background is in psychiatric social work and addictions. Theresa is eclectic in working with clients, using a variety of treatment methods and is committed to providing the highest quality care. Bill Becker is an established entrepreneur and business man for over 30 years in the Tri- state area Pa/NJ and Del. His primary business is real estate however his real passion is and has been inspiring people and motivating them to do better for themselves by helping others. He is an accomplished author and lecturer for over 20 years as well as instructor for various universities in the tri-state area. Tamie holds her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. She has extensive experience treating severe eating disorders at an inpatient and outpatient level. She works with men, women and adolescents in individual, group and family counseling. She feels that spirituality, connection with others and integration of the unhealthy and healthy selves is essential to recovery. Annie, MSW, LSW, works with individuals and groups struggling with addictions, codependency, grief and loss. She also sees clients who have been sexually abused as children focusing on healing from the negative effects the abuse has had on their self/world image and intimacy. Carla is an Integrative Psychotherapist with a practice in psychotherapy for over 20 years. Bruce Mercogliano, Psychologist, Social Worker, Educator, Divorce Mediator, is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Pat Obst has experience counseling individuals, couples, and facilitating support groups on a wide range of issues. Pat O’Connor, MSW, LSW, is a licensed social worker, certified Active Parenting Facilitator, and has been trained by The Center for Family and Divorce Mediation in divorce mediation and domestic violence. Robin is a N.J. licensed clinical social worker with 10 years experience serving children, families, homeless/at risk youth, mentally challenged, and adult offenders.
